If you are running SAS® 9.3 in a UNIX environment and you set the value of the MEMSIZE system option to 0 or MAX, the value will be set to 2G. Insufficient memory errors could result.
To circumvent the problem, specify a reasonable value that is less than the UNIX server's physical memory.
Note that Metadata Server processes are typically
started with a specification of -MEMSIZE 0.
If a value larger than 2G is required, modify the setting
in the MetadataServer.sh start-up script.
